CREDENTIALS
Amy McGeady is the founder and
principal of Austin Business Writers. She has broad
proposal experience and has earned a reputation as a
true proposal expert. The bulk of her proposal
experience is in responding to large-scale
government RFPs on behalf of corporate clients. She
also writes grant proposals and applications on
behalf of nonprofit organizations and for-profit
companies.
Amy received her doctorate and
master of art’s degrees in political science from
Purdue University and a bachelor’s degree from the
University of Texas. She has a broad understanding
of public policymaking and a strong research
background.
Prior to starting Austin
Business Writers, Amy served as the Director of
Business Development and Strategic Marketing for a
Fortune 100 company specializing in human services
outsourcing and workforce development. Prior to
that, she was a researcher and instructor at Purdue
University. While at Purdue, Amy was awarded a
prestigious, three-year Science to Achieve Results
(STAR) Fellowship from the U.S. Environmental
Protection Agency to conduct her dissertation
research.
